Cancellation & Refund Policy

Application Stage

Submitting the online admission application or project enquiry is free. Course payment details are shown only after the application is securely saved and the selected intake is shown as provisionally available. A direct UPI or bank-transfer submission remains subject to manual transaction verification.

Written Confirmation Controls

The quotation, invoice, admission confirmation or signed agreement for a specific service may contain a different cancellation, rescheduling or refund arrangement. Where it does, that written arrangement will prevail.

If the Academy Cancels a Programme

If Star Records Academy cancels a paid batch and cannot offer a reasonable alternative, the affected course fee received for that batch will be refunded. The academy is not responsible for a student’s travel, accommodation, equipment, software or other indirect expenses.

Student Cancellation Before a Batch

Unless the written admission confirmation states otherwise, a written cancellation request received at least seven calendar days before the confirmed batch start may be eligible for refund of course fees paid, less actual payment-gateway charges and a reasonable administrative or seat-reservation amount disclosed at admission.

Requests received fewer than seven calendar days before the batch start are generally not refundable because the seat, instructor time and batch capacity have already been committed. A one-time transfer to a later available batch may be considered.

After the Programme Starts

Fees are generally not refundable after the programme has started, classes have been attended, digital material has been accessed or course resources have been issued. In exceptional documented circumstances, management may consider a batch transfer, credit or partial adjustment at its discretion.

Missed Classes and Schedule Changes

Absence from a class does not create an automatic refund. If the academy reschedules a class, a replacement session or reasonable alternative will be arranged. Minor changes to instructor, sequence, timing or delivery mode do not normally qualify for a refund where the core programme continues.

Creative and Digital Project Cancellations

Project advances reserve production capacity and may become non-refundable once discovery, planning, design, coding, shooting, editing or other work begins. If a project is cancelled, the client remains responsible for completed work, committed third-party costs and non-cancellable bookings. Any unused balance will be handled according to the written quotation or agreement.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method or another mutually verified method. Processing time depends on banks and payment providers. We may request identity, payment and bank verification to prevent fraud.

How to Request Cancellation or Refund

Send a written request to info@starrecords.in with the applicant or client name, programme or project, payment date, receipt or invoice reference and reason for the request. Decisions are communicated after records and applicable written terms are reviewed.
